“When I was a child, I was always busy trying myself in all sorts of activities: dancing, playing the violin, singing in the church choir. I would find it difficult to stay in one place, as I was incredibly curious to try as many different things as possible. And when one day I tried drawing, I realized that I had found what I enjoyed the most.
When I was about 17 years old, a close family member took me to an art school. That place was amazing! The atmosphere there exuded creativity and peacefulness. I saw a student sitting by a tree, eating an apple and drawing. At that moment I felt where I have to be. “I must study here!”.
There were people around me who helped me immensely in learning the fundamentals of drawing. For a while I couldn’t decide what specialty I wanted to study and was thinking about studying either graphic design or advertising design. By an unbelievable stroke of luck, during my last entrance exam (there were six of them in total) I was told that there had been a mistake and I was signed up for the interior design examination. In hindsight, that mistake turned out to be a blessing in disguise. After completing my studies, I started to work as a designer assistant, and later became a freelancer.
I finished my stydies at 2006. I am lucky to have the opportunity to work with colours and forms. Every morning I can’t wait to start my workday, and every day I am thankful to life for the chance to do what I like the most”.
